Report an error

Send correction reports to: contact@belieffield.com

Include the page URL, the wording you believe is inaccurate or misleading, a short explanation, and any source that supports the correction. Specific reports are easier to evaluate than general disagreement.

What counts as a material correction

Material corrections can include factual errors, misattributed beliefs, incorrect source or edition information, quotation errors, misleading descriptions of a denomination or school, and omissions that materially change the meaning of a claim.

Minor spelling, typography and formatting fixes may be corrected without a formal correction note when they do not change meaning.

How we handle corrections

BeliefField checks the affected passage against the relevant evidence and perspective scope. When a substantive correction changes what readers are told, the page should be updated clearly rather than preserving an error for appearance’s sake.

Correction history is not invented. A correction note is used only when a real material correction has occurred.
